Morito Hackney Road draws influences from tapas and mezze from Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean including the island of Crete, where Head Chef Marianna Leivaditaki grew up and worked in her family’s fish restaurant. The menu changes frequently and seasonally. We make our own breads and flatbreads and use a charcoal grill to give the food its distinctive character.
