We're excited to announce the launch of breakfast at Morito Hackney Road. We'll serve breakfast each Saturday and Sunday.
Breakfast will be served from 9.30am and some dishes stay on the lunch menu, which starts at 12pm.
We'll continue to offer dishes drawing on Spanish and Middle Eastern flavours at breakfast time, with the incorporation of Head Chef, Marianna Leivaditaki’s, Cretan influences as well.
In true Morito style, the Moroccan breads, seasonal jams and granola, amongst other new dishes, will be made daily in-house.
Typical dishes will include:
Homemade granola with cardamom, yoghurt, pomegranates and pistachios
Msemen (Moroccan bread) with fresh seasonal jam and butter
Beghrir (Moroccan pancakes) with fresh sheep’s cheese and thyme honey
Bougatsa – Cretan filo pastry, fresh cheese, sugar and cinnamon
Fresh fruit, orange blossom water, chia seed porridge, hydrated seeds
Poached eggs, spinach, chilli butter, seasoned yoghurt and crispy sage
Traditional Turkish menemem eggs (with/without sujuk sausage)
Huevos rotos with sweet peppers, chorizo and smoked paprika
Morito Hackney Road will also be serving punchy Bloody Marys with harissa, fresh cucumber, apple and mint juice, beetroot and pear juice, Cretan mountain tea (an iced version also available) and Allpress coffees.
